In the wake of the protests and demands for justice for Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd, many were shocked by the blatant and callous disregard for life by people who have sworn to protect us.
Unfortunately, others were not. Many of us have witnessed racism happening or experienced it directly just by being a black or brown person in America.
Now more than ever, we have to stand together and speak up against all actions, behaviors or vicious rhetoric that contradict the morals and values of what it means to be a human being.
