Recent racially motivated violence incidents in Minnesota, New York, Kentucky and Georgia have drawn widespread national attention. Many of our families, colleagues and neighbors are experiencing feelings of anger, sadness and fear as a result.

This reminds us that speaking out against racially motivated violence is the first step in creating change. ComEd will not quietly observe or be silent. There is no room for hate, racism, discrimination or harassment of any kind at our company or in our communities.

While social distancing separates us, this is not a time to be passive. It’s a time to reach out to others and engage in a dialogue to make sure the voices that have been ignored for so long are heard.
