From concerts and fitness classes to meetings and group hangouts, many aspects of our lives have migrated online due to COVID-19.

Luckily, you can stay virtually connected with ComEd, too. From webinars and home energy assessments to STEM education activities for the kids, we’ve got you covered.

Webinars

If you manage a business or building, you can learn about saving money and energy without leaving your couch through ComEd’s live and on-demand webinars.  Each e-session is tailored to the unique needs of your business or building and includes information on incentives offered by ComEd and energy efficiency tips for a variety of industries including hotels, schools, factories and more. In a recent webinar held for the public sector (i.e., local government, municipalities, park districts, libraries), more than 100 customers registered – one of the largest registries for a customer-focused webinar in the company’s history.

Free Energy Assessments

If you’re a ComEd customer, you have opportunities to reduce your energy use with a FREE energy assessment for your home that includes free and discounted products.  Businesses are also eligible for a free facility assessment that offers recommendations on energy saving projects and identifies available incentives. When you request an assessment, you can choose to receive a virtual or an in-person assessment with a ComEd representative, who will wear personal protective equipment and practice social distancing.

Educational Activites

ComEd developed a series of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education activities that can be accessed through ComEd’s website for you, your family and teachers. You’ll find a variety of short videos and creative corresponding activities to engage students in learning about the future of energy and making smart energy choices at home. Lessons include the Virtual Smart Energy Hub and STEM Never Stops.
