ComEd crews restore power to iconic Willis Tower after severe storm

For the first time in its 47-year existence, the 110-story Willis Tower was completely without power. Shermann Thomas, ComEd area operator, was part of the crew that worked meticulously to restore power to Willis Tower after heavy rains breached the Chicago River and flooded a ComEd basement substation that provides electric service to the building.
