This summer, ComEd held the third EV Rally, where 45 teen girls learned about electric vehicles, STEM principles and the future of clean energy by assembling and racing electric go-carts and connecting with female ComEd mentors.
One of these mentors was Evan Abraham, a ComEd Engineering Design Tech, who, as a teen, participated in the original program, the ComEd Icebox Derby, back in 2016. Now, Evan reflects on what it’s like to be on the other side as a mentor to the next generation of women in STEM.
Listen to her story and hear from one of her mentees, Amal, in the team Lilac Laser, the winning team of this year’s EV Rally Race.
