Meet Koran Ward and Norelis Gonzalez and hear their stories about their experiences in CONSTRUCT, an 11-week job training program that helps prepare its graduates to compete for entry-level jobs in construction-related fields.

Koran and Norelis graduated in May 2016 in a class of 71 students, the largest class to graduate since the start of the program in 2013.

The CONSTRUCT program is run in parallel at six sites across the Chicagoland area by the Chicago Urban League, National Latino Education Institute, ASPIRA of Illinois, Austin Peoples Action Center, Quad County Urban League and the YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago.
