CEO Series: Creating the Model for a Community of the Future in Chicago
Chicago is a city of neighborhoods, which makes it an ideal setting to explore community-based energy solutions, says Anne Pramaggiore, president and chief executive officer of ComEd. In Bronzeville, on Chicago’s South Side, ComEd plans to engage the community to launch a “Community of the Future” pilot featuring the world’s first microgrid cluster and other new products and services that connect residents to each other and to the many valuable uses of the smart grid.
